An integrated approach to visualizing vascular trees
Efficient visualization of vascular structures isessential for diagnosis, therapy planning and medicaleducation. In this paper, we present an approach which isbased on a prior binary segmentation result, point extractionand Poisson surface reconstruction. The proposed method has been applied to liver vessel trees and aortic vessel trees. Theexperimental results show that it can effectively achieve ahigh-quality surface visualization with finer details.
