Study on Digital Data Processing Techniques for 3D Medical Model
3D medical model is widely used in modern surgery,and image processing is the main method for its reconstruction.Because the structure and shape of human organs are verycomplicate, triangular mesh is more appropriate than 4-sidespath surface for medical model. To promote the application of 3Dmedical model based on digital triangular meshes, technologies ofprecise reconstruction via image processing, RE based editingand triangular mesh based forward design are integrated andused to create precise original model, cut model, repairing modeland surgical aid tool. The applications illustrate, with proposedmethod, 3D medical model based on digital triangular mesh canbe handled freely as wanted, and used successfully in clinic toimprove the operation quality and precise degree.
