Multi-direction Guidance Motion Tracking for Real-time Ultrasound Strain Imaging
The axial-and the lateral-guidance motion trackingare efficient approaches for real-time strain imaging; however,they are suffering from error propagation. This paper introducesa novel multi-direction guidance (MDG) motion trackingalgorithm which selects higher quality previous estimations frommulti-directions as seed displacement of the next estimatedlocation. Experiment results show that this presented algorithmcan efficiently avoid error propagation and obtain much higherstrain signal-to-noise ratio (SNRe) than that from the axial andlateral guidance.
