Automatic recognition of microarray images using projection algorithm

摘要：

To locate the spots in microarray imagesautomatically, we combine the projection algorithm with statistictheory, making the gridding without absence and redundancy.The radius of spots could be estimated based on the improvedalgorithm, which is an important parameter in segmentation.Adaptive threshold is used to segment the image, and disktemplate generated automatically is used to detect the spots. Thepositive and weak spots could be detected correctly, so themethods are not only for the ideal images, but also for the imageswith many negative spots.
