A New Method for Iris Location Based on Pointwise Detection
The iris recognition as a biometric technology forpersonal identification and verification has become a hot reseachtopic, and thus variety of recognition algorithm systems areemerging continuously. In an iris recognation system, the locationof the iris is the first step, at the same time which plays a crucialrole in the succeeding content. A new iris location about thecombination of a rough research and piontwise detection ispresented in this paper according to the troditional positioningmethods, which win out of the simple procedures, fast speed andreal-time application.
