Metabolism of Toluene Diisocyanate in Mice Testis and Epididymis
To elucidate the metabolism of toluene diisocyanate (TDI) in mice testis and epididymis, the metabolism was studied in vivo. By using of HPLC, the linear range, recovery and metabolic constants in mice testis and epididymis were studied. As result, both the metabolism of TDI in the testis and the epididymis were matched to the first order dynamic equation, and the average recovery was more than 96%. There were metabolites with toxicity in the metabolism of TDI in mice testis and epididymis, which provided a basis for the reproductive toxicity of TDI.
