Influential Factors on Spectral Induced Polarization of Chrome-Contaminated Soil
As the spectral induced polarization (SIP) method has been used more and more widely in the rapid detection and evaluations of soil pollution, it is necessary to study on the influential factors on SIP of contaminated soil. By the soil SIP dispersion properties experiment in kinds of conditions, we find that moisture content and pollutant concentration will both have some impacts on the amplitude of complex resistivity and phase angle. Phase angle has a stronger response to the moisture content and pollutant concentration in low frequency, so device operating frequency will chose low-frequency in the actual pollution detection. The experiment result shows that the SIP detection method can be used to evaluate the chromium-contaminated field.
