Effect of Loaded Pellets in High Voltage Pulse Discharge

The effect of loaded pellets in high voltage pulse discharge was investigated. There were some changes in the surface characteristics of different pellets with loaded catalysts. The specific surface area of the pellet loaded with ferric hydroxide increased and the pellet loaded with titanium dioxide decreased. Pore volume and pore size of loaded pellets were small. The adsorption of phenol on the loaded pellets was little. Air and oxygen aeration promoted the phenol degradation. Titanium dioxide and ferric hydroxide loaded on the surface of activated alumina could react with ozone and catalyze ozone decomposition to produce hydroxyl radicals, which accelerated the degradation of organic matter.
