Effect of Nanomaterial on Improvement of Water Quality
This paper reports a new method of using nonmaterial to improve the quality of water. The results showed that wastewater treated by nanomaterial was improved greatly while the water transparency increased and the contents of chemical oxygen demand(COD), total phosphorus(TP), total nitrogen (TN), nitrate nitrogen and nitrite nitrogen decreased, in which the removal rate of TN was 97% , the content of nitrite nitrogen decreased 75%, which was only 1/4 compared to control group, content of nitrite nitrogen decreased 47%, content of TP and optical density(OD) value decreased 44%. It indicated that nanometer material could improve water quality obviously and nanotechnology showed a broad prospect in aquiculture.
