Flow Field Analysis and Structural Optimization of A Three-Phase Hydrocyclone Based on CFD Method
Based on computational fluid dynamic (CFD) method, flow field analysis and structural optimization of a three-phase hydrocyclone were carried out by using FLUENT soft pack. By numerical simulation analysis on de-gas and de-sand functions of the three-phase hydrocyclone, effect of different geometric parameters on de-gas and de-sand functions is studied. It is found that the change of overflow tube intrusion length, height of reverse-cone structure, and location of outflow holes influences a lot on separation results.
