Treat River Sewage by Constructed Rapid Infiltration System
In order to improve the quality of the river water, raise constructed rapid infiltration(CRI) system was constructed. Practice shows that the location and layout of this ecological engineering conform to the source of pollution, and the system is a new technology which combines natural, social and economic systems in one. In effluent of CRI, the removal rates of CODcr, NH3-N, TN, BOD5, SS and TP are 89%, 99%, 30%, 98%, 87% and 55% respectively. The contaminant concentrations of CODcr, NH3-N and BOD5 are 40mg/l, 0.391 mg/l and 3.2 mg/l respectively, and they meet 1 A standard requirement of Pollutant Discharge Standard of Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant, however the treatment efficiencies of TN and TP are low. It suggests that when improve the CRI technique, TN must be the key to the study. In order to bring the CRI into wider use, structures, materials and front-end solutions of CRI must be changing to raise removal efficiencies of TN, TP and SS.
