A NEW METHOD TO IMPROVE POLY(3-HEXYL THIOPHENE) (P3HT) CRYSTALLINE BEHAVIOR: DECREASING CHAINS ENTANGLEMENT TO PROMOTE ORDER-DISORDER TRANSFORMATION IN SOLUTION
RR-P3AT is a kind of polymer optoelectronics material which is widely used in organic optoelectronics devices and patterns, in which the performance is determined by its condensed structure. In this field, we report an effective method to improve crystallinity by promoting order-disorder conformation in solution by means of ultrasonic oscillation. The reliable method has provided an opportunity to decrease the extent of chains entanglement and increase ordered aggregates for high molecular weight P3HT molecules. In spin-coated films, both the crystallinity and interchain interaction are greatly promoted. The coverage degree of nanofibrils is continuously increased.
