SYNTHESIS OF THE BLOCK COPOLYMERS AND THEIR APPLICATIONS IN NANOMATERIALS

Introduction In a selective solvent, block copolymers can self-assemble into micelles13. In the bulk, block copolymers can carry on microphase separation and form the nano-structures4. Those unique properities have attracted much research interest in recent years. Many nanomaterials based on block copolymers have been prepared. Herein, we synthesized a series of block polymers by living polymerization. Subsequently, these block copolymers were used as templates or structure direct agents to synthesis nanomaterials.
