STUDY ON THE STRUCTURE AND THERMAL PROPERTIES OF SBR / SILICONE BLENDS BY MELT PROCESSING

Hydrosilylation is very important in the siliconeintroduced reactions and the vulcanization of silicone rubbers By now, almost all of the platinumcatalyzed hydrosilylation reaction is carried out in solution while used in melt-processing rare reports besides addition-curable silicone rubber (7). Grafting of hydrogen-containing poh/methylsiloxane (PHMS) to solution styrene-butadiene rubber (SSBR) via hydrosilylation reaction catalyzed by platinum in the melted was carried out, the Si-H reactivity and the thermal properties of SSBR grafted hydrogencontaining polymethylsiloxane were studied via Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and dynamic mechanical analyzer (DMA).
