pH -SENSITIVE GELS FROM CELLULOSE AND CHITOSAN

摘要：

Cellulose and chitosan (CS) are fantastic aboundant natural biopolymers, therefore they have great potential to prepare affinity or adsorptive membranes or gels due to their functional groups such as hydroxyl and amine groups along the molecular chains. Here, we reported new methods to prepare an adsorptive membrane by impregnation of CS into a regenerated cellulose membrane or to prepare CS sphere covered by a layer of regenerated cellulose.
