SELF-ASSEMBLY OF POLYPEPTIDE-BASED COPOLYMERS

Self-assembly behavior of amphiphilic diblock copolymers is thoroughly studied, however, the understanding of the self-assembly behavior of nonlinear copolymer such as graft copolymer, brushlike copolymer as well as multi-component copolymer systems is not deeply enough.1,2 Recently, increasing attention has also been given to the polypeptidebased self-assemblies due to their excellent biocompatibility and significant advantages in controlling both the function and structures of the supramolecular aggregates.35 In the present work, the self-assembly behavior of a series of polypeptide-based copolymers were studied.
