Preparation of lignin-based polyether polyurethane and its properties
Lignin-based polyether polyurethane was synthesized by using wheat straw oxygen-alkaline pulping lignin, polyethylene glycol (PEG) and diphenylmethane-4,4-diisocyanate (MDI). Its properties were investigated. The study shows that wheat straw oxygen-alkaline lignin can substitute part of PEG to react with MDI to synthesize polyurethane. The ratio of NCO/OH and lignin content influence the properties of lignin -based polyether polyurethane respectively.
