Mechanical and airtight properties of the high-low temperature resistance multilayer composite material

Because of good flexibility, light weight, good insulation, the high-low temperature resistance multilayer composite material has been widely used in spacecrafts, polar environments, volcano adventure and so on. Besides the insulation properties, the tensile property, flexible property, and airtight property at high-low temperature are also important for the material. The material discussed in this paper consists of outer fabric, inner fabric and middle multilayer system. The tensile properties of the outer fabric, inner fabric, middle multilayer system and the whole composite material at room temperature (20 ℃±2 ℃), high temperature (75 ~80 ℃), low temperature (-100 ℃±3 ℃) were measured. And the flexibility and airtight properties of the outer fabric, inner fabric, middle multilayer system and the whole composite material at room temperature (20 ℃±2 ℃), high temperature (70 ~80 ℃), low temperature (-100 ~-75 ℃) were measured. It can be found that the tensile property and flexibility did not change largely at high-low temperature condition. And there is no leaking phenomenon at high-low temperature. The composite fabric can be used in the application of high-low temperature conditions.
