The synthesis and characterization of multi-branched rare earth luminescent materials for fluorescent fiber
In this paper, a novel multi-branched benzoic acid ligand was obtained with propanetriol, glycolic acid and 1,4-benzenedicarbonyl chloride. The structure and the property of the ligand were characterized by IR spectra and TG curve. A novel organic rare earth luminescent material was synthesized by using Eu 3+as luminescent center, multi-branched benzoic acid ligand as the first ligand, phen as the second ligand. The structure and property of the organic rare earth luminescent material was characterized by IR spectra, TEM and fluorescent spectra. The IR spectra of the rare earth luminescent material show its structure is as same as we expected. The TEM photo indicates that the diameter of the particle is 30-50nm. The luminescent property of the rare earth luminescent material is remarkable.
