Fabrication and characterization of SrLaxFe12-xO19 nanofibers
SrLaxFe12-xO19(x=0.6) nanofibers with average diameters of 200nm were manufactured by electrospinning combined with sol-gel technology. In the process, spinnability was studied by using poly (vinyl pyrrolidone) and acetic acid as a spinning aid. The materials were characterized by XRD and SEM. It is observed that SrLa0.6Fe11.4O19 nanofibers have hexagonal magnetic plumbite structure. These novel magnetic fibers can potentially be used in high-density magnetic recording, micro/nano electronic devices, and microwave devices.
