Synthesis of block copolymer based on polyfluorenes and application to luminescent materials
Monomer I 2,7-dibromo-9-(4-methylphenyl)-9-(4-octylphenyl)fluorene and monomer II (4’-bromo-biphenyl-4-yl)-(4-2-2-(2-methoxyethoxy)ethoxyethoxyphenyl)amine were synthesized, then PF homopolymer and PF-b-PTA copolymer were prepared. Homopolymer and copolymer were characterized with GPC and 1H NMR, which confirm the structure of obtained product. The photophysical properties were examined by UV absorption and PL emission analysis both in solution and in thin film. The blue-emitting wavelength range was confirmed and the improvement of fluorescence ability was verified.
