A rapid method for determining content of soybean protein fiber in blended fibers
Now chemical analysis is a widely used method in fiber tests, however, its procedure is complex and time-consuming, which greatly influences the efficiency of fiber tests. Thus it is necessary to find a more quick and convenient way to avoid these problems. According to the equation m=γ*v (where m is mass,γis density, and v is volume), theγof the fiber density is constant, and then the m can be counted based on v (volume). As for fibers, v can be determined by numbering. Therefore, it is very important for description of accurate volume for all kinds of fibers in blended yarns. In this paper, a simple, quick and efficient method for calculating the quantity of fiber by microscope observation is discussed.
