Study on the non-isothermal crystallization behavior of PET/TiO2 nanocomposites
PET/TiO2 nanocomposites have been synthesized via the in-situ polymerization method. The effect of TiO2 particles on the non-isothermal crystallization behavior of PET was investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Mo method was adopted to analyze the non-isothermal crystallization data. The results showed that the TiO2 in PET acted as effective nucleation agents. The presence of TiO2 changed the mechanism of the nucleation and accelerated the growth of PET crystallization.
