Macroporous calcium carbonate prepared by using PS-b-PAA spherical-like micelles as template
Spherical calcium carbonate composite with definite morphology was prepared using the polystyrene-b-poly(acrylic acid) micelles as template. The PS-b-PAA with narrow molecular weight distribution was prepared via the atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) and subsequent hydrolysis. The micelles were obtained by PS-b-PAA self-assembly in DMF/H2O. Macroporous calcium carbonate was obtained after calcination process for calcium carbonate composite.
