The research on cytotoxicity and cellular uptake of mPEG-PLGA-PLL nanoparticles

The aim of this study was to investigate the cytotoxicity and cellular uptake of mPEG-PLGA-PLL nanoparticles. The mPEG-PLGA-PLL nanoparticles were prepared by “oil-in-water solvent evaporation method. The cytotoxicity and cellular uptake of mPEG-PLGA-PLL nanoparticles were evaluated by MTT assay and Confocal Laser Scanning Microscopy (CLSM). We found that mPEG-PLGA-PLL nanoparticles showed neglectable cytotoxicity, and the uptaken nanoparticles were mainly localized in cytoplasm.
