The Application of Frequency Estimation to Doppler Log
Doppler log is one of the important navigation devices on the ships. It provides high precise velocity information to the users. Based on the discussion of the work principle of Doppler log, we discussed several frequency estimation algorithms for Doppler log that include the zero-crossing algorithm, Zoom-FFT algorithm, Decomposition into orthogonal components，Four points estimation, Five points estimation. Further more, the result of the simulation has been also proposed in this paper.
