An outlook on sports science in the Paralymplc movement
The vision of the International Paraiympic Committee (IPC) is. To Enable Paralympic Athletes to Achieve Sporting Excellence and Inspire and Excite the World1. This ambitious vision remains the keystone to the success of the Paraiympic Games and IPC sanctioned events around the world. However, to achieve this vision is not without iis challenges, Irials, and questions. The IPC is Ihe international governing body of sports for athletes with a disability and acts as the International Federation for 12 additional sports.
