Service quality on post-secondary sport and recreation programmes in Hong Kong
The Beijing 2008 Olympics and the 2009 East Asian Games have induced an increase of public and private investments in the sports and recreation industry in Hong Kong. The expansion of this industry undoubtedly generates greater demand on manpower with knowledge in sports and recreation. Thus, the educational institutes target increasing demands of manpower and have developed various sub-degree programs in sports and recreation for secondary school-leavers to meet this need. This study aimed to examine students expectations and perceptions on these sports and recreation programs in Hong Kong.
