A comparison of the effects of two different taping styles on ankle kinematics and peroneal EMG in sudden inversion

Introduction Ankle taping is one of the most common measures used for injury prevention, yet there are a number of taping methods taught (Pope, Renstrom, Donnermeyer, & Morgenstern, 1987). Some methods use entirely nonelastic zinc oxide tape (NE), while others rely primarily on elastic tape (EAB) for primary support.
