Time allocation in physical education classes among three levels of teachers
Introduction Time allocations for teaching and learning in physical education (PE) classes have long been a focus in research on teaching in physical education (RT-PE). Academic Learning Time-PE was used as a means of assessing teaching effectiveness during the last two decades. Most studies were conducted in grade K-8; however, no studies have yet been examined how Specialist (STs), Inservice (ITs), and Preservice Teachers (PTs) allocated their class-time in PE classes within PE teacher education (PETE) programs.
