Hydro-thermal Generator Maintenance Scheduling Accommodating both Randomness and Fuzziness
In this paper,a new approach for unit maintenance scheduling was proposed based on the credibility theory. This approach accommodates two-fold uncertainty: randomness of generators failure and fuzziness of hydro energy simultaneously. To solve the scheduling problem effectively,a Benders decomposition approach was employed to decompose the optimization model into maintenance master problem and operation sub-problem.After the decomposition,an improved Balas implicit enumeration algorithm and an approach involving the credibility theory and Cumulant method were proposed to solve the master problem and the sub-problem accordingly. The proposed approach was applied to a large-scale power system for unit maintenance scheduling. The feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed approach were approved by the numerical case study on the IEEE-RBTS system and one province power system.
