An Effective Method For Generation Expansion Planning In Restructured Power Systems
This paper represents a generation expansion planning in restructured power systems. For decoupling generation expansion planning from transmission expansion planning,we use a new method as T-index.We use benders decomposition to reduce complexity of problem.benders decomposition divide the main problem in to two subproblem: first subproblem is the master problem wants to maximize profits of each genco (PBGEP) and second subproblem is a security problem wants to satisfy security network constraints (SCGEP).outputs of this algorithm will included the place, type, size and timing for the adding of new units. Also we calculate value of each gencos profit and total profit. Finally,we run this approach on a case study and we analysis the results. Results show the effectiveness of presented algorithm.
