CO2 Emission Reductions Influenced by PEV-wind Synergistic Dispatching

Delivering a low-carbon,low-energy consumption and low-pollution economy puts electricity industry on a path to cut CO2 emissions. In a power system with a share of wind energy, the wind power fluctuation causes a variation in the power generation, which must be compensated from other sources. If we can give guidance in Plug-in Electric Vehicle ( PEV ) charging time and make vehicles to be charged primarily during off-peak periods,PEV-wind synergistic dispatching can realize load balance and increasing wind power integration and thereby reducing CO2 emissions. In this thesis,we take Shandong power grid as an example and set up optimized math model which is provided to minimize the system emissions of CO2.On the one hand,CO2 emissions per kWh of electricity are calculated under different charging scenarios and PEV-wind synergistic dispatching CO2 reduction in power system is obtained. On the other hand, extra wind power integrating into power system is considered to supply for PEVs charging power, and the rest of PEVs charge from power system. On this basis,PEVs CO2 emissions per 100 kilometres under different charging scenarios are calculated and PEV-wind CO2 reduction per 100 kilometres in transport industry is obtained.
