Research on Smart Energy Storage Technology and Control Strategy in Microgrid
Composed of DGs,energy storage and local customers,Microgrid (MG) is introduced to enhance the local reliability and flexibility of electric power system.Because of its small capacity,MG is vulnerable to fluctuation form source and loads.Energy storage becomes an indispensable equipment to compensate these effects.Various forms of ESSs application in MG are summarized; as energy storage is not easy enough to use,so the development of smart energy storage is necessary.The concept of smart energy storage is being put forward,the potential topologies of smart energy storage is given and analyzed,and some crucial control technologies of smart storage are also provided,including charging/discharging control method,power flow distribution control method.The principle of a novel designed power charging/discharging control method of ESS is illustrated,and the effectiveness of the method is verified with simulation results in PSIM.
