New Utilization Scheme for Large-Scale Wind Power Farm in North China
During the twelfth Five-Year Program of China, three wind power bases with capacity greater than 10 GW will be established in North China.Rapid development of wind power brings opportunity and challenge to the North China Power Grid. With the analysis of the difficulty in wind power utilization, referring to the Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS),based on the power retail mode,a novel conception of green power utilization mechanism is proposed. To solve the problem of effectively utilizing the huge wind power, accounting for the status and characteristics of thermal power in North China, two types of bundled outward transmission modes for the Inner Mongolia and Hebei grids are proposed.Under the non-gridconnected wind power mode, large customers can use wind power directly rather than via the Power Grid.Soft-and hardware conditions for developing the wind power utilization are discussed.
