Effect of tempered temperature on microstructure and properties of 150mm 610MPa grade ultra-heavy plates
The 150mm 610MPa grade ultra-heavy plates was successfully exploited with 320mm casting slab, and the microstructure and mechanical properties was studied under different tempered temperature. The plasticity and toughness are improved obviously in the 1/4 and 1/2 of 150mm ultra-heavy plates by controlling the amount and distributing pattern of ferrite, and the produced plates are successfully used in the construction of hydropower station of Murum in Malaysia.
