Analysis and Discussion on Controlling Inclusions in the Heavy Steel Plate of Wugang

摘要：

By taking sample at the location of NDT defective area of 120mmthickness low alloy steel plate, electrolyzing the bulk sample and making energy spectrum analysis on the inclusions,i t is found that the inclusions represented by sil icate and alumina are the major origin of inclusions. The inclusions i n the steel have been significantly reduced by means of improvement measures like s lag system and slag volume adjustment.
