Adaptive Sliding Mode Control of Maglev Guiding System for Ropeless Elevator based on Feedback Linearization

An adaptive sliding-mode control system is proposed to control the maglev guiding actuator. The actuator is used to replace traditional elevator guiding shoes, it would be applied in ropeless elevator to maintain a constant air of permanent magnet synchronous linear motor (PMLSM) and restrain mechanical vibration. The control system so design based on adaptive sliding mode control and feedback linearization method in order to improving nonlinear problem maglev equipment. Matlab modeling of this system is used in this paper. The simulation result of the entire system are presented in this paper.
