An LMI Approach to FuzzyH∞ Filter Design for Nonlinear Systems

This paper addresses the problem of H∞. lter design for a class of nonlinear systems. The nonlinear plant is represented by a Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy model. To begin with, the fuzzy H∞. lter is transformed to a new representation form. Then, based on the quadratic Lyapunov function, the method for H∞. lter design is proposed for the filtering error system. Since only a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) is involved, the H∞. lter gains can be solved directly. A simulation example is demonstrated to show the effectiveness of the proposals.
