A Product Form Design Study Based on Semiotics
According to the semiotics explanation, the main function of the symbols is to convey message, if we consider a product’s form, materials, colors and other factors as the basic symbol to study, they also convey messages to the users. This paper discusses the structure and functions of product form symbols, and provides some practical design cases as references.
