Limited animation: History and Artistic techniques

摘要：

This paper looks back upon the important periods in the history of limited animation, as well as figures and animation movies during those periods. On the basis of that, this paper makes initial study about the artistic techniques of limited animation, and puts forward two levels with five common techniques in the motion design when making a limited animation movie. In addition, this paper compares limited animation with full animation, especially in the methods of art design as well as storyboard design.
