The Preliminary Understanding to the Characterization of Cultural Phenomenon

Based on the Tianjin Shi courtyard as an example, this paper analysis auspicious patterns elements of Chinese traditional culture, gets the preliminary understanding of Chinese cultural connotation and discusses the necessary of native design contained in traditional culture to keeping pace with the times and the method of design.
