The Design of the Tourist Souvenirs related to Universe Globe of China based on the Concept of Harmony
Through analysis of the core texts of Chinese culture, including Yi Ching, Lao Tse and Confucius, this paper concludes that the foundation of Chinese culture is as follows: based on Yi, the harmony of Tao and human spirit constitute s the root of the great Chinese culture. Under the guidance of “Fu, which suggests harmony, Universe Globe of China is designed, and its concept is elaborated. The design of tourist souvenirs is thus a promotion of Chinese culture as well as a contributor to the construction of socialist harmony.
