On the relationship between Xian Subway Public Art and the History and culture
Facing the practical problems of urban development and historical and cultural resources protection, Xian Subway shoulders the responsibility of transporting and displaying the charm of the historic city. With the theme of history and culture, this paper discusses the art of Xian Subway to solve the conflicts between urban development and the historical and cultural resources protection, displaying decorated underground space to maintain the charm of the city image, and try to provide feasible ideas for the functional development and visual environment of Xian Metro and other public spaces.
