E-Eagerness leverages on the breakthrough of E-Commerce in the Public Sector Case study of Khuzestan Water & Power Authority of Iran 1.

Most of the public sectors in the world and in developed countries specifically acknowledge the importance of e-commerce to their countries in order to survive for their businesses and creating and encouraging an atmosphere for the wide adoption and success of ecommerce in the long term. So implementing e-commerce in the public sectors is one of the areas which is focused in Governments action plan. This study aims at investigating the significance of current electronic eagerness method for electronic commerce triumph in public segment companies in Iran. In this paper in order to achieve those aims, we first review the previous literature on this topic and later this research hypothesized two main categories which affect on ecommerce success in KWPA (Khuzestan water & power authority) as a case study in Iran through gathering results from structured questionnaire. These findings show that the public sector should consider organizational and external eagerness as the requirements of e-commerce success. In particular, ecommerce governance, technology resources and commitment emerge as chief factors weighing the relationship between e-eagerness and e-commerce success.
