IMS Management & Monitoring with eTOM framework And composite web service
IMS (IP Multimedia System) facilitates a rapid deployment of new services enable new revenue streams for service providers, and improves the operating efficiency of the network by a convergence of heterogeneous into an existing IP network. In addition, it enables operators to simultaneously meet the requirements of fixed and mobile telephony. Because IMS “standardization is limited to architecture, routing, area supply services are not defined will in Assurance and monitoring, contrary to billing and fulfilment. Consequently, the IMS is less clear regarding the monitoring of performance and fault management, leaving these matters to the NGOSS (New Generation Operations Systems and Software) system to manipulate QoS based assurance scenarios. The eTOM (enhanced Telecom Operations Map) descriptions provide the ability to perform a ‘System Level Monitoring & Management’ capable of tracking the delivery of services in IMS architecture. In this article, we start by monitoring of a supply scenario of service, by integrating new technologies WSOA (Service Oriented Architecture) and BPEL (Business Process Execution Language) in network management.
