Speeding up the Production Standard Formulation of Forestry Biomass Briquetting Densification Fuel
Forestry biomass resources are enormous in China. Its a sensible method to develop the forestry biomass briquetting densification fuel, which has a high calorific value and can ease the energy shortage in China. But now the molding technology is still at the primary stage with many questions unresolved, such as unequal distribution of resources, imperfect forming technology and unsound mechanism of market supply and demand. As there is no consistent production and quality standard existing to refer, it hinders the biomass molding technology to be industrialized seriously. So its essential to speed up the production standard formulation of forestry biomass briquetting densification fuel that is not only geared to international standards, but in accordance with our national situation. Drawing on the standards of biomass briquetting densification fuel in Europe, the standard system should include raw material collection, end product transportation and storage, terminology, denomination and classification of the molding equipments; technical conditions and testing method, safety, environmental protection and so on. The establishment of standard system is good for the development of biomass fuel industry to be healthy, orderly and sustainable.
