Synthesis and Characterization of Acrylpimaric Amides Derivatives with Antibacterial Activities
Acrylpimaric acids were synthesized by the Diels-Alder addition reaction between rosin and acrylic acid, and which have two carboxyl groups. Fourteen compounds of acrylpimaric amides derivatives were synthesized from acrylpimaric acids for the first time, their structures were characterized by IR, 1HNMR, MS. At the same time, the antibacterial activities of acrylpimaric amides derivatives were investigated using two kinds of representative bacterials of Staphylococcus aureus (gram-positive bacteria) and Escherichia col (Gram-negative bacteria) were selected in the paper.
