Study on the Properties of Bleached Chemi-mechanical Pulps from Poplar Wood Processing Residues as Furnishes for Offset Paper
Properties of bleached chemi-mechanical pulp from poplar wood processing residues and properties of offset paper made from this pulp were investigated. Results showed that, at the chemical dosages of 6.0% hydrogen peroxide combined with 5.0% sodium hydroxide against to oven-dry chip mass for impregnation, the brightness of pulp could be reached up to 83% ISO, and at the freeness level of 100 mLCSF, the tensile index of pulp could be up to 43N.m/g. Offset paper products were manufactured using 80-90% of this pulp and 20-10% of SBKP, the quality indexes could be reached up to the demand of B grade that confined in the Light Industry Standard QB/T1012-1991.
