The Preparation and Photocatalytic Activity of Zn2+-TiO2 /AC
The Zn2+-doping TiO2/AC immobilized photocatalyst was prepared with sol-gel method, and the structure was identified with N2 adsorption isotherm, scanning electron microscopy, and X-ray diffraction. The photocatalytic activity of Zn2+-TiO2 /AC was also studied With the toluene as the simulacrunm. The results show that: Zn2+-doping can cause the diffraction peaks of TiO2 widening and the grain size decreased; the degradation of toluene can be up to 100% within 40min when Zn2+-doping content is 20%, and it can be kept 75% after 160min which is 1.8 times to TiO2 /AC.
